July 26, 2010: I will be absent for about 2 weeks to a month or more. I'm relocating as previously stated -- a little late again. I may have to put the site in recess for that time. I'm not sure there will be consistent internet access.

I won't expect a great amount of visitor activity yet, until I do something essential. I'm happy for those of you who did come. Thank you from Kiwi Sun.

July 23, 2010: Howdie there. There's actually a couple of things I didn't finish on time: AS Collage, Scent of a Rose, Spirit Radio, and Taijuan and the 7 Doors. I haven't forgotten them, they will come later on in the year. I will also try to continue to finish the site.

I took down the Sabella Nude pic - Fruisha Gallery. I really want to start putting clothes on the girls. If you already downloaded it, that's fine. Though I like nudity, not everyone appreciates it. Also, I want to start appealing to a younger generation.

July 19, 2010: Food for Thought: Many of you who visit my blog are artists in some way, so please correct me if I'm wrong. I was driving around, and casually thinking about this. I haven't been able to keep my goals perfectly executed. It feels great to me when I accomplish something in a timely manner. Recently, I haven't been so fortunate.

A thought came to me, when I was exiting on an off-ramp from the highway: Art is a right brain activity, which consists of creativity, spatial, music, and color comprehension. The right brain also consists of the element of timelessness. When you get into a state of timelessness, like enjoying the drawing process, playing basketball, or surfing - it's a remarkable gift of right brain activity. Since art is right brained, and art is timeless, my goals in trying to time the timeless, has consequently often times become futile.

Artist's in America, are right brain people in a left brain society. Left brain is about being timely, and sequential, which consists of time. (i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.) We also know with America and americans, the emphasis is about getting things done quicker and quicker, and faster, faster; For instance fast food restaurants. (Have you ever heard of slow-food restaurants.) But what are we racing for?

There's a study I heard from Dr. Wayne Dyer's Excuses Begone! audiobook (I hope I remember correctly): From a happiness study, out of 50 countries, America is rated 46. I believe Nigeria is rated 1.

I also heard something from Wallace D. Wattles: Their is enough abundance on Earth that all of the people in the world (if I remember correctly) can live as lavishly as kings and queens, dressed in the finest clothes, and all have a house the size of the White House, if we can live with the right mentality.

What are we so in a hurry for? One of the reasons I can fathom we're so in a race to achieve or attain something, before someone else, is because we are living in a society with a scarcity mentality. There's only one of something, so we need to get it before someone else.

America has a good amount of ego, and an ongoing image to uphold. In addition, ego is about gaining value. "I (we) have to do something before someone else," and, "Russia, we got to the moon before you = we're better," also, "This is mine (moon), not yours." Many don't see this, but this arises from a scarcity mentality, including issues of a self-worth (or you can call it self-esteem, or spiritual) issues. But why do we need to 'gain' value, if we already have value? We have to get it, because we don't have it. We have to fight for something we don't have. Many wise men can live in total obscurity, because they don't need the self-worth gained from others, (or they don't need the attention). They've found it - their self worth. Everyone else is fighting battles of self-worth, such as: subtle battles for intellectual status, battles for social status, battles for artistic status, battles for musical status, battles for power, and we call it competition. Much of it is has to do with feeling our self-unworthiness. People can get downright ugly if you nudge their ego just a little. Where does this insecurity come from? Not feeling their self worth. However, if we had real worth, would we need to fight for it? Maybe we emphasize more, more, and more, because we endlessly feel, we don't already have something, something at the core. The cure is abundance - inward and outward.

Living in a country (the US) that lives more luxuriously than the rest of the world, many are still in a state of trying to survive, fighting every day for the essentials, and ongoing struggle to make money to acquire the necessities. If we refuse, then we're on the street, period, no luck. The scarcity mentality (inward and outward) keeps us constantly fighting, in fear of the bottom. The bottom is scarcity. According to Wallace D. Wattles, a scarcity that shouldn't even exist. If we didn't have to fight for the top, we wouldn't have to do things quicker and faster. If we didn't have to do things quicker and faster, we wouldn't have to meet those invincible deadlines.

So in being in the state of timeless enjoyment wrong? Are artists doomed to not make timely deadlines? Is Donny a good guy, and is he responsible?

I do try to time things precisely, but perhaps I (or we artists) would be more successful if we give us an extra cushion of time to meet those times of timelessness. What do you think?

July 16, 2010: I put up about 82% of the site material yesterday. I'll continue to finish this morning to afternoon. I still need to put up warning signs before the nudity for instance.

For Releaser, this is one instance I did bypass the rules of nature and try to make it look scary. It was created a long time ago, but this was before I decided not to draw anymore underworld entities. Although, I did usually try to keep them looking neutral by avoiding pure red colors, and opt for blue and greys instead. The trolls page also has another image.

July 12, 2010: There is something too exciting to pull away from at this time. I need to take another couple of days to finish the site. I hope to have everything finished by the end of the 15th.

July 11, 2010: I can't believe this description took 2 days to write. I thought it was going to take half a day. It's not really that long. Time is flying too fast. I rushed the last half a little.

July 8, 2010: Zwandi and Gazaan in Yunovia - It'll be a couple more days before I finish. To keep you company while I'm away, I made another quick Zwandi clip. I'm still trying to evolve Zwandi and Gazaan's character. So they're changing a bit.

Although, I have second thoughts and realize I should also sell a version of Solstice ( a newer version). Even though I threw out Sinx from the Imaginaries, I realize he doesn't look like a bad guy to me. So I gave him a place in AS (Kaloomsha Swords Summons). Link

July 2, 2010: Awakening Sun Entry - Dark Characters in AS: Awakening Sun is about Good vs. Bad. This includes beings which are close or embodies angelacy, and beings which are close or embodies the semblance of dark entities. The explanation is for anyone who wonders why there are so many devilish looking characters in the story.

Also please realize, the dinosaurs, piranhas, bats, spiders, scorpians, crocodiles are from God's brush. You can see even God has a scary eye. Movever, monsters of today are created by artists who take characteristics from these living or past day animals. (Although AS characters steers away from grotesque characters, which many times bypasses the rules of nature, and tries to retain some class with its dark characters. This depth can't be seen until they are shown in action.)

An analogy also, is man using a scythe or carving knife. He can use it to weild as a weapon, or as a tool. Respectively, it can be scary or fruitful. Monsters in AS serve as a tool to explain and to help people better understand the concepts of good and bad and their purpose.

Also, in a plentitude of cases, what makes an intriguing story is a powerful bad guy - like the interesting story of Jesus meeting Satan = a clash of the titans if you will. Nonetheless, AS has a underlying ethical theme.

July 1, 2010: Well I tried to keep my word. I guess it's a lesson in how to better execute a goal. I don't feel great, but I gave a good effort - I was 2.5 hours off, done moderately well, and incomplete. 20 of 30 characters are up, and some are for sale.

New things: New movie in the Somla Game Station, with new rough character in Starwater; New drawings in Royalty Free 2D

Over the next 2 days or so, I"ll try to finish the site.

Movie Note: I was inspired to make dragons after watching a Monster Hunter Tri clip of an underwater dragon, as well as from Jason Chan's work.

2D Drawings Note: For the longest time, I withheld drawing angels. Recently, the images of Jesus and angels seem to give me hope during this period of my life - so I decided to draw some.

Character #9 Note: I still have trouble with i's and e's, I'll correct the name.

June 29, 2010: I was looking over characters like the Solstice painting, and I realize they are really good characters (perhaps it can't be seen with the overlapping text and the crop), that I can really do something with in Awakening Sun. I think I will pull them from the store, and place them in the Somla Game Station gallery. There you can download them for free and use them non-commercially. I still have some characters in the store, with unlimited restrictions; Many more are coming! Get excited, Yeehaww!
Tubular!!! Let's get our credit card, and buy some characters!!!! ( . . . later on in the year.)

June 28, 2010: I like to stop by Akiane's Blog now and again. Sure we hear about great people from our past. Although, it's even better when your experience those people in real life. In some cases, there are many great men and women who go unnoticed in their lifetime. For example, Herman Melville, who wrote the famous whale epic, Moby Dick. He didn't reach his acclaim and success until after he died. Akiane Kramarik is producing masterpieces at the mere age of 15. Not even Michaelaganelo or Leonardo was as great a painter at such a young age. Honestly, I've look through the history's greatest painters, and so fair she beats them all.

. . . but it seems she is not the only gifted person in the family. 2 extraordinary people in one family. What are the odds? She has a younger brother, Ilia (cool name), who is a gifted philosopher at the youthful age of 7. I mean wow, read his poetry.

(Blog) June 22, 2010: I dream of the stars. Emma and Keira, what's going on with you two? I haven't been paying attention to things in a long time. Hmmm, Emma has another boyfriend - that's no surprise; Young, rich, and beautiful are what guy's want. May I also add: smart, funny, and a girl who's going places. Keira is making another movie. I love a woman who works and does her thing. Yah, it gives me goosebumps. I'll never forget her in Pride and Prejudice - the perfect girl - she's flawless. One day I will steal both their hearts, and they will crave me endlessly.

Another alluring one? Wow, you are the rarest of finds. If only I was worthy of your attention. You've been gone for so long. A girl so fine, even her middle name is rose. The sweetest voice must have the sweetest lips. I'll be sure to make an Imaginary character of her.

Well so far, my projects are coming okay. Hope to have some new characters ready before July, with a finished site.

Wow. Nintendo surprised me with the 3DS. Personally, I'm really excited about it . . .

The presentation starts with the "Regginator", I knew he'd be back - Reggie Fils-Aime. That man wants to kick some hiney. Mr. Reggie Fils-Aime is the President and COO of Nintendo of America. He's the big boss of Nintendo. On the jumbo overhead screen Mr. Fils-Aime presents to us the new Zelda game "The Legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword", with the Legend of Zelda series creator Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto.

Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto (known as the Nintendo game god) teleported onto stage (I'm serious, in blinding light he teleported) and showed us how to play Zelda with the Wii's nunchuck. I thought the demo was really good. Halfway through, the demo of Zelda started to malfunction. The light rays from his head were messing up everything. Miyamoto was being modest though, and said it had something to do with the wireless connection. (He's a good guy.)

After Mr. Miyamoto exits with me wanting to eat the thing (the new Zelda game), Reggie again steps onstage and presents a fine collection of new Nintendo games from third parties as wells as their own, including Disney's Disney Epic Mickey. (I love the style in the Steamboat Willy travel zone. It would be terrific if they blew that world and stlye up some how.) Then he came, the man himself. Named as one of the world's top CEOs, by Barrron's Magazine, President and CEO of Nintendo Satoru Iwata steps on to the stage, and works us up for the big news . . . The stage was all in mist, and I'm mystified. The camera zooms, and I see it under blue streamline glow . . . It's unveiled: Nintendo's new 3DS - it's 3D without the glasses.

After the 3DS commercial I'm hooked. With all the goodies I'm giddy. I was so happy. So now I'm waiting for the release date.

Personally, as a gamer myself, I'm excited about the Nintendo's E3 releases: 3DS, Zelda, Metriod, Donkey Kong, and 3DS Kid Icarus.

In summary, Nintendo gave a solid presentation of games and technology. Nintendo's got a great lineup of video games with companies such as Square Enix, Capcom, Konami, and Ubisoft. Hits like Metal Gear Solid & Resident Evil with the added 3DS 3D capability are just another reason to get excited.

I would love to make better images. I'm still stuck on Maya 4.5, which is about 4 to 6 versions older. I told a guy I had 4.5, he was like, "Yikes!" $4,400 to upgrade is really steep. I'm happy with what I have though. I realize there are people in Africa who are starving and don't have anything. What I have is good enough.

I've made a final decision: I'm making a move to another state, also I did say I was going to bring the "rest" or the "majority" of characters. Because of this move, I've decided to bring the majority. 20 of 30 I will try to bring, although recent plans to bring all the I's have fell through. 20 were cut out a week ago, because of the comlplete makeover of the Imaginaries. (No longer a third page.) The rest of the 200 I will have to finish through this year and the next.
